  • Leírás: Three years after his “death”, Nikos Liosis returns from the war in Korea. Feeling, however, completely wrecked, both physically and psychologically, since he has already been officially declared dead, he decides to spare his wife and daughter for a little while longer. One day, his wife Varvara, sees him on a beach and follows him, while he pretends to be someone else. Although he insists that this is all just a case of mistaken identity, she asks him to pretend that he is her husband, for a fee, of course. She needs his help in order to get away from her step-father’s pressure , Grigoris, who is trying to force her to marry a rich friend of his. Nikos is surprised, but accepts. The incidents that follow help Nikos recover his lost optimism, accept his place in life and be with the ones that love him: he is now close to his wife; he has professor Liaros advising him; he gets a job as the manager of the factory in the place of Grigoris and discovers his mother Eirini in a monastery - who had disappeared after the tragic news of her son’s death.
